Halloween

Mom picked me up early one day for a doctors appointment and we got to go for lunch. Here's Ty and I leaving my school.
Mom and Dad went out for a party the day before the hurricane.
 Meet Doctor Nathan!
Hurricane Sandy hit us hard. We were very fortunate to only have lost power. We didn't have power for 5 days, we had a fun time with the flashlights.
It was okay without power until it got cold. Then we were freezing!
We are grateful for the Dunsmore's. They didn't lose power so they let us borrow their generator so we could turn on our electric blankets. Then we got to visit them to do our laundry.
 Here's sweet baby Ellie!
Our church, Morrow Methodist had power and they opened their doors for people to come and get warm and also use their wireless network.
All the trains were shut down so Dad couldn't get to work. We spent a day at the church getting warm and playing.
This was the best thing we saw all week, a power crew in front of our house.
Nathan's wearing one of Grandma's sweaters.
Since we couldn't celebrate Halloween because of the hurricane, we got to a few go trick or treating a few days later.
Maplewood had the annual Halloween parade too.
 Oh, that bird is angry!
